Mick Pritchard (MP) assisted Penrite Oil Company to create an impressive industrial warehouse facility by project managing the build remotely. MP was involved with locating the block of land, liaising with real estate agents, finding the right builder for the job and then overseeing the construction process whilst keeping the client informed of the progress every step of the way.
Penrite Oil Company, requested Mick Pritchard (MP) and his team’s services in developing a first-class industrial facility. The client needed an authoritative company they could trust with project managing the planning and building process from the very start to finish. Given that the project was managed remotely, MP’s communication remained at the highest level throughout the build.
The project management process involved finding and securing the right parcel of land for the warehouse facility. MP met with real estate agents, inspected a range of potential properties, and assisted by seeking competitive pricing for vacant land.
During the land procurement phase, MP researched potential builders best suited for the job. This involved investigating each builder’s past projects and relevant experiences to the project. MP meticulously reviewed each submission to find the best fit and proposed our recommendation to the client.
When construction of the warehouse commenced, MP outlined the project’s design parameters and regulatory authorities’ requirements and liaised with the builder – in addition to overseeing the building stage from beginning to end and keeping the client informed. MP was even involved in ensuring that the occupancy certificate was signed off prior to hand over.
Both MP and the client are extremely pleased with the result. The industrial facility is incredibly well-made, aesthetically impressive and the perfect fit for the clients’ distribution needs – the exact blue-chip investment they were after.
